Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Game Coming Next Year

The animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem has garnered critical acclaim since its release in theaters last month. As fans know, the best way to follow up a good TMNT project is to make a video game out of it, and that’s exactly what's happening next year.  Publisher Outright Games, along with Paramount and Nickelodeon, have announced a new untitled TMNT game in development set within the Mutant Mayhem universe. It will feature the same striking visual design and follows a new story set months after the movie's events. There’s no word yet on if the film’s ensemble cast will reprise their roles. In terms of gameplay, a press release only hints that the project involves “combining energetic ninja teamwork gameplay with a humorous narrative, players will take control of the Turtles as they interact with a host of memorable...

Zelda Producer Says There Will Be No DLC For Tears Of The Kingdom

Between great reviews – you can read Game Informer’s right here – and excellent sales that led to Nintendo having a record-breaking quarter, there’s no question The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a success for Nintendo. Based on his comments, the team behind TOTK might be moving on to a new Zelda game in a new Hyrule, too.  “We have no plans to release additional content this time, but that is because we feel like we have done all we can do to create play in that world,” Aonuma told...

Alone In The Dark Delayed To January

The upcoming reimagining of Alone in the Dark is skipping Halloween this year. Instead of inviting players back to Derceto on October 25, the survival horror adventure will now arrive on January 16. In a press release, developer Pieces Interactive offers a candid explanation for the move: it doesn’t want the game to compete with October’s heavy hitters like Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and another big horror game, Alan Wake 2.  “Our intention is to avoid competing with the wake of Alan's epic release and to evade the dazzling skyline of cities adorned by the graceful swings of Spider-Man," Pieces writes. "We aim to truly remain as Alone in the Dark as possible. To honor this, the spine-chilling horror game has been rescheduled to unveil its horrors on January 16th, 2024. This extension will serve a dual purpose: not only will it permit us...
