The final announcement of today's Nintendo Partner Direct was the reveal of Octopath Traveler 0. The upcoming RPG launches on December 4 for Switch 2 and Switch, along with PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The debut trailer sets the tone for the adventure while showing off the series' trademark HD-2D graphics. The trailer's description teases new features such as Path Actions, a system allowing for more varied interactions with characters, and a battle mechanic called Break and Boost. Cronos: The New Dawn, the upcoming original sci-fi horror game from Bloober Team (the developer behind the recent Silent Hill 2 remake), is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PC, and Switch 2 on September 5. The release date and a new trailer was revealed during today's Nintendo Partner Direct. Gameplay of the Switch 2 version (which does not look as sharp as its PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC counterparts) was shown during the presentation.Until today, Cronos: The New Dawn has only had a 2025 release window. The September 5 release date is officially confirmed for all platforms, including Switch 2....
