State of Decay 3 Trailer Revealed, Coming To Game Pass Day One

Today brought some exciting news for fans of the long-anticipated State of Decay 3, as we finally got a trailer that shows off some of the grim survival experiences waiting for players. State of Decay 3 doesn’t have a release date yet, but we do know that the game will release on Game Pass on day one. The earlier State of Decay games focused on survival first, rather than simply gunning down hordes of enemies that have infested the world, even if taking out zombies remained a notable part of the experience. Beginning with the second game, there was also a big focus on cooperative play for up to four players. Based on the new trailer, that second feature appears to be a particular focus, as the narrative of the video showcases individuals working together to survive the killer undead...

The Stanley Parable Creator’s Next Game Is About A Cozy Tea Shop (We Think)

Wanderstop is the next game from the creators of The Stanley Parable and The Beginner's Guide, and in it, you are a character named Alta who is running a tea shop, though it seems in the past she was a soldier. The trailer starts with charming, cozy tea shop tasks like serving customers and collecting tea ingredients but ends with Alta on a bench working through a panic attack while convincing herself she is living her best life. Both The Stanley Parable and The Beginner's Guide are games that play with player perceptions and are some of the best uses of taking the interactive medium to tell stories that only video games can tell. Wanderstop looks like a cozy game, but it's safe to assume there is more to it than that. The game is being published by Annapurna...
