These Four Indie World Showcase Games Are Out Today

Nintendo showcased more than 20 games this morning during its April 2023 Indie World Showcase, and you won't have to wait long to play a handful of them.  That's because four of them are available later today: Teslagrad Remastered, its sequel Teslagrad 2, Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, and a new game in the West of Loathing series called Shadows Over Loathing.  Teslagrad 2 and Teslagrad Remastered Tesldagrad 2 was announced last August, and it's out today. Like the first game, you'll need to harness electromagnetic powers to solve physics-based puzzles throughout Scandinavian environments. Doing so will ultimately require players to master the art of Teslamency. Oxenfree II: Lost Signals Out This July

The wait has been long but it's almost over because Oxenfree II: Lost Signals is out in just a few months.  Developer Night School Studio revealed today during a Nintendo Indie World Showcase that Oxenfree II is out July 12. It will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC. Alongside this release date, Night School Studio also released a new trailer showcasing more of what to expect in this spooky paranormal thriller and there's a lot going on.  Set five years after the first Oxenfree, which was released in 2016, Oxenfree II follows Riley as she returns to her hometown of Camena to investigate some strange electromagnetic waves. Mineko’s Night Market Gets September Release Date

Mineko's Night Market, the upcoming delightfully charming social simulation adventure from Meowza Games, finally has a release date and it's out in just a few months.  More specifically, Mineko's Night Market hits Switch and PC on September 26. Lego And Sega Reveal Four New Sonic Sets

Sega and Lego have revealed four new Sonic Lego sets and all four will be available in just a few months.  More specifically, the four new sets – Amy's Animal Rescue Island, Sonic's Speed Sphere, Tail's Workshop and Tornado Island, and Sonic's Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge – will be available from Lego's online store, the company's brick and mortar Lego stores, and authorized retailers starting August 1, 2023.  Amy's Animal Rescue Island Amy's Animal Rescue Island will feature 388 pieces, six characters in Amy, Tails, Crabmeat, Picky, Pocky, and Flicky, and additional accessories. New Nintendo Switch Online Sega Genesis Titles Includes Street Fighter II

The Sega Genesis library of Nintendo Switch Online gets its first batch of new games in months today.  Old-school fighting fans can dive into Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition. This marks the first appearance of Street Fighter II in the library, and this particular version is the 1993 console port of the first major arcade update to Street Fighter II. The collection also includes the side-scrolling classic Kid Chameleon, the arcade game Flicky, and Pulseman, a sci-fi side-scroller by Pokémon developer Game Freak.  As a reminder, Genesis titles are included in the Expansion Pack of Nintendo Switch Online, which falls under the more expensive subscription tier.
