Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic Remake ‘Alive And Well’ Following Embracer Sale

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake is "alive and well," according to Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch. He revealed this during a recent interview with IGN, where he also confirmed Saber took Star Wars: KOTOR Remake with it following its split from Embracer Group.  Last month, Embracer Group, the company behind the closure of Saints Row studio Volition Games and layoffs at companies like Black Forest Games and Eidos-Montréal, sold Saber in a $500 million deal. It sold the studio, which is also developing the first-person adventure Jurassic Park: Survival, to a group of private investors under Beacon Interactive, which is controlled by Karch. At the time of the sale, the company didn't mention its Star Wars: KOTOR Remake, leaving excited fans concerned for the game, which itself has already gone through some rocky development.  Now, thanks to Karch's interview with IGN, we know...

Manipulate The Elements In Eternal Strands, Yellow Brick Games’ Debut Action Adventure Title

After teasing the reveal of its first project last week, Yellow Brick Games has unveiled the first trailer for Eternal Strands. The fantasy action-adventure title is coming in 2025.  Eternal Strands centers on Brynn, a warrior known as a Weaver searching for secrets of the formerly mighty nation called the Enclave. The game’s system centers around using the world, namely elements and temperature, to your advantage. Brynn wields a magical cloak called the Mantle, which grants her power to manipulate the elements by channeling magic. A reactive world means she can explore by harnessing weather events such as a flash freeze to augment ice abilities and create bridges to open new paths. She could also use a heatwave to start fires that spread realistically, consuming vegetation and enemies alike. Check out the game’s first alpha gameplay trailer courtesy of IGN below. ...
